How do you ship ice cream without it melting?
We pack our ice cream in insulated shipping containers with enough dry ice to keep your pints frozen solid until the end of the delivery day. We recommend unpacking and placing them in your freezer as soon as they arrive.
Do you offer vegan or dairy-free options?
Yes! We always have a variety of chef-driven, dairy-free, and vegan flavors available. These are made with bases like coconut cream or oat milk to ensure the same creamy texture as our traditional ice cream.
When will my order ship?
To ensure your ice cream arrives frozen, we ship Monday through Thursday depending on your location. Orders placed after 12 PM PT on Thursday will typically ship the following Monday.
Can I return my ice cream if I don't like it?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. However, if your order arrives damaged or melted, please contact our customer service team immediately for a replacement or refund.
Are your products nut-free?
While we offer many flavors without nuts, all of our ice cream is produced in a facility that handles peanuts and tree nuts. We take precautions to prevent cross-contamination, but we cannot guarantee a 100% nut-free environment.
How long can I store my pints in the freezer?
For the best flavor and texture, we recommend enjoying your Salt & Straw pints within 3 to 6 months. To prevent freezer burn, keep the lid tightly sealed and store at the back of your freezer.
